Update & New Work!

Posted on

It has been quite some time since I rebuilt my website and the new look seems to be well received. I appreciate all the compliments. WordPress has opened many new doors for my website than I was able to open through normal HTML, and in a much faster manner.

Over the next few days I will be updating the website, yet again, with a new section for human condition photography. This will consist of photographs of people as they are, and of real-life situations.

There will also be an update to the Print Shop page with examples of open and limited edition prints. Please bear with me during this particular part of the update. My external hard drive where I kept most of my photographs for easy access has had a fatal crash and I need to re-upload images as time permits. Unfortunately, there are some images that were stored only on my external hard drive and are lost forever, but some of them can be rephotographed and I will do so as soon as possible.

Over the last 20 years, I have been pigeonholed into the medium of digital photography, which I have always struggled with due to its limitations compared to film where I originally started. So, I have been working on getting back into film for my art photography. My art photography will ideally consist of medium format in the beginning and branch out to other forms of film photography as I delve deeper into film. Currently, I have two Rolleiflex twin lens cameras which technically function but, due to their age, need to be professionally disassembled, have all the internal parts cleaned and specific parts calibrated and relubricated to work good as new for another 60 years. There is also the cost of film, developing, and printing.

To help raise the funds for this I started a Go Fund Me account. If you would like to help, please click here to donate to my Go Fund Me campaign or visit the Print Shop to buy a print!
Thanks in advance!
