Human Condition

In a previous blog about why I chose photography, I state, in part, one reason being that photography gives you “the permission to stare- as long as they want”.

I am a people watcher, an observer more than a talker. This section is all about people as they are and situations as they are happening, that have captured my attention. I may stage a portrait, but I will not stage situations or tell those involved in the photographs here how to look, how to dress.

I hope you enjoy observing what I have observed.

There is something special and about a child dancing to the beat of their own drum, as Shillelagh definitely does. There will be more Human Condition and themed photographs of Shillelagh posted in other areas of this website in the coming months.
